Text up your girls, tell them what’s up.
Play your favorite songs on guitar. Proceed with watching a happy movie.
You probably feel a little groggy from lying on your couch.
Take a shower. Feel refreshed.
Spend a little extra time to straighten your hair, put your swag on.
Put on that Beyonce joint in your CD player.
Sigh. Heavily, softly, so long as the sky does hear it.
Then Confidently say:
” Not on the rocky road ahead but on You, Lord.”
Ready? Now,
Get back to work.
