By entrusting our Worries to the Lord, He allows us to see clearer. What you see are the people that need to be prayed for, served and Loved. How very precious is this sight, and how important is our Response to it is…
Today, my boss let all the Part-timers know that all our hours would be cut in half. Young One, who likes to overspend on Coffee and Clothes accepted this with a Smile; he has school to worry about. As do I, with fieldwork as another Part-time job.
But others like Tall One and Trust Issues One took the news the hardest; 12 hours simply wasn’t enough to pay off a growing debt or the monthly rent, complete with survival needs like groceries.
We eventually found ourselves gathered in the BOH processing what this meant for all of us. It means a lot of us are Worrying. But also, that many of us were willing to Give. To give up their hours to those that need them. How amazing!
Lord, Provider of All Things, You always give us what we need. Thank you for blessing this team with generous hearts. Please uplift all those that are consumed by their financial Worries and prepare their hearts to receive Abundance in Your time.
