Day 14: Fire

A different type of Fire. “It is only natural to want to avoid Fires. We all know what it feels like to be burned- both physically and metaphorically. But this is a Godly fire. This is the fire of Holiness and Love. This is fire that cleanses and sets free, the Fire that burns up sin but heals the sinner.” (The Word Among Us, December 2011)

Real Talk. It hurts when you have to go through Fires in life. The burning hurts. However, when you know the Fires are initiated by a God that Loves you, you know it’s all for the best. Trust. He knows what’s up. Even when you can’t see through the flames.
